The company was founded in 1937, when it began the manufacture and sale of binders such as starch for medicine, food and textile industry. In 1956, the company developed its own method for manufacture of carboxymethyl cellulose. The company developed and started manufacturing calcium salt of CMC from 1962. The products have been well received by pharmaceutical companies in Japan as well as worldwide due to their stable quality and unwavering performance.
